These terms govern your use of DripSync ("the App"), an e-commerce image management application for Shopify and WooCommerce, operated by Elytron Labs (operated by Sincero Ventures LLP) ("we", "our", "us"). By installing or using DripSync, you agree to these terms.
1. Service Description
DripSync is an image synchronization tool that helps e-commerce merchants match and upload product images from Google Drive to their Shopify or WooCommerce store using AI-powered matching technology.
2. Account Requirements
- You must have an active Shopify or WooCommerce store to use DripSync.
- For WooCommerce, you must install the DripSync connector plugin and provide REST API credentials for your store.
- You must authorize access to your Google Drive account to use the image sync features.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your accounts and API credentials.
3. Subscription & Billing
- DripSync includes a free Novice plan. When you install, you also get a 14-day trial of the Master tier automatically. No credit card is required to start.
- After the trial, you continue on the free Novice plan automatically. A paid plan (Pro or Master) is optional and unlocks higher monthly limits and additional features.
- Shopify: Billing is handled through Shopify's billing system. Charges appear on your Shopify invoice.
- WooCommerce: Billing is handled through our payment partner (currently Cashfree). The Novice plan is free; paid plans are Pro ($19/mo) and Master ($99/mo), billed monthly and shown in your local currency before purchase.
- You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated credit. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for details.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
4. Acceptable Use
- Use the App to upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or interfere with the App
- Use the App in any way that violates Shopify's, WooCommerce's, or Google's terms of service
5. Data & Privacy
Your use of DripSync is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
5a. Hive (opt-in feature)
DripSync offers an opt-in feature called the Hive (formerly the “Elytron Network”), which delivers image-strategy benchmarks and related sweeteners by aggregating pseudonymized catalog and image-attribute data across consenting merchants. Use of the Network is entirely optional.
- Opt-in required. No data is contributed to the Network unless you explicitly enable the Network from the in-app Settings page. The default is OFF for all merchants on all tiers.
- Symmetric benefits. All opted-in merchants receive the same Network benchmarks regardless of subscription tier. Some opt-in sweeteners (AI alt text, descriptive image rename, hero quality score, multi-angle gap detection) require Master tier because they rely on AI vision capabilities included with Master.
- Scope of contribution. See § 4a of our Privacy Policy for the full list of what is and is not shared. In summary: catalog data plus image attributes from images you have approved and pushed; never raw images, never unpushed Drive content, never customer data.
- Internal mechanisms. DripSync extracts barcodes (GTIN/EAN/UPC) detected in your product images using optical character recognition, and uses those barcodes as a canonical product-matching key within the Network graph. This is an internal technical mechanism described here for transparency; it operates only on images you have approved and pushed.
- Opt-out. You may withdraw consent at any time from the in-app Settings page. Your contribution to the Network is removed within 30 days. Aggregated benchmarks that were computed during your participation persist (we cannot un-mix averages), but future aggregates exclude your data.
- No additional fees. Participation in the Hive does not change your subscription fees. The Network is provided as a feature of your existing tier.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all images and content you upload through DripSync. We claim no ownership over your product data, images, or store content. The App itself, including its code and AI models, remains our property.
7. Limitation of Liability
DripSync is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to incorrect image matching, data loss, or service interruptions.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications to the App at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes.
9. Termination
You may stop using DripSync at any time by uninstalling it from your store. For Shopify, uninstall from the Shopify admin. For WooCommerce, deactivate the DripSync plugin or request account deletion from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your stored data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
